Friends of the Library Southport Oak Island was voted by Brunswick County residents as the top Charitable Organization of 2026 in Brunswick Marketplace‘s annual poll. Pictured with the plaque are representatives of the FOLSOI board (Ginger Corcoran, Cindy Phillips, Kathy Kitchings, Pam Frandano and Anne McKay). The plaque will be mounted in a place of honor in the Once More Bookstore in Southport. The organization sends a grateful thank you to everyone that voted for FOLSOI.
