On February 26, 2026, the Brunswick Arts Council awarded FOLSOI a grant of $2,000 to support the monthly Creative Arts Club program at G.V. Barbee library on Oak Island. This program enables children, ages 6-11 years old, to create imaginative art projects with the support and encouragement of an accomplished arts instructor.
