On May 7, 2025 FOLSOI received a generous donation from Southport Woman’s Club (SWC). The $500 gift was accepted by Carol Brolley (Past President, FOLSOI) from Penny Tysinger, Co-President and Treasurer of SWC.
“The Southport Woman’s Club (formerly the Civic League) has been an enduring supporter of the library in Southport, as far back as the early 1900s. Their commitment to literacy and libraries continues to be strong today.” commented Cindy Phillips, FOLSOI Board President.
