The Friends of the Library Southport & Oak Island received a $1500 donation from the Southport Lions Club to be used for the purchase of additional audiobooks.  The check was presented on February 10th, 2025 by Barbara Lemos, the Lions club representative to Cindy Phillips, President of FOLSOI and Heather Donnell, the Branch Manager of the Harper library.  The donation will allow the Harper library to purchase an additional 30-35 audiobooks to be added to the lending collection.
