Have a teen reader in your life? Sign them up for the Libre Loot program from Harper Library. Each month they’ll receive a box with a selection of books to read and return, and some fun loot to keep! Our volunteers are amazing!

Wow! Our volunteer hour numbers just keep increasing! Our total hours for June was over 460 hours thanks to huge increases in hours (over 200%!) from the Programs &  Events and Ways & Means committees. The Publicity committee also saw a 20% increase, and the Book Sales committee a 18% increase. Business is certainly getting back to normal at FOLSOI! Thanks for all you do!

As part of a dynamic board of directors, lead a terrific team of 4-5 volunteer library program coordinators for popular programs like Let’s Talk About It, Opera Sunday, and Meet the Author. Also arrange and present educational or entertainment programs for FOLSOI’s Annual Meeting and initiate Friends of the Library community events with library managers.

Publicity Co-Chair

Offer thought leadership on marketing content strategy; lead a talented, experienced 7-person publicity team for library news, programs and events. Oversee the website, social media and MailChimp accounts.
